Mata Hari
Her fascination with human beings and their different yet similar ways of communicating with each other around the world is the driving force behind Mata Hari’s art: listening to music from different subcultures, rearranging the beauty within them and sharing it with her audience. Both music and mathematics are nonverbal languages. Experiencing music and mathematics, we can explore and share their metaphysical properties while perhaps never fully grasping their true meaning or function. This is what still excites Mata Hari and drives her to share her particular interpretation of the world through sound.
