Lena

Zurich girl by choice and transwoman Lena is wizard of interior and exterior light intervention. Her objects, installations and projections increase awareness for seeing light. In her exhibitions and performances she subverts expectations, unmasks the things we take for granted and creates reduced figures of reflection that subtly play with the viewer’s perception. Lena’s been active as a freelance light designer and visual artist since 1996, with a portfolio spanning a range of works in the realms of theatre, dance and musical as well as various exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad.
